A construction worker was killed in a tower crane accident at a mixed-use project in Parole, Md., on April 30. The unidentified victim was working 200 ft above the site of a residential development at Annapolis Towne Centre, where a piece of the crane was being dismantled. The victim was crushed between two sections of the crane, according to Anne Arundel County fire officials. Rescue crews were called in at 9:15 a.m., but the victim died on the scene, officials said.
