An Army civil works and Corps of Engineers group is developing documents to help carry out requirements of last year’s $23-billion Waer Resources Development Act. John Paul Woodley Jr., assistant Army secretary for civil works, told a Senate committee on March 11 that priority areas for the team include provisions covering federal water resources in WRDA’s Principles and Guidelines, peer review for projects, Florida’s Everglades and restoring Louisiana’s coast.
