First Quarterly Cost Report 2008

The subprime mortgage crisis is breaking out of the housing market and starting to infect the health of the overall economy and the nonresidential building markets. But the really bad news is inflation may ignore the downturn in demand and strengthen because of increasing energy prices and higher costs of imported materials, such as steel and cement products, due to the weaker dollar.
