Description
The Burj Dubai, the supertall building under construction in Dubai, will open four months late, in 2009 instead of the end of 2008. The tower’s developer announced the delay in Dubai on March 2 during the Eighth World Congress of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat. But adjacent to the tower, the “world’s biggest mall,” which will contain 4 million sq ft and 1,400 stores, is scheduled to open at the end of summer as planned.
