Description
Efforts to adopt the first U.S. standard for high-performance buildings are entering round two in the fight to win acceptance among industry groups. The authors of proposed Standard 189.1, which includes the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Cooling Contractors, the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America and the U.S. Green Building Council, have released a second draft that incorporates several changes prompted by nearly 900 comments on the initial proposal.
