| Description |
| The $168-billion economic stimulus measure that President Bush is expected to sign has depreciation breaks that may assist construction equipment purchases, but the bill lacks any new infrastructure spending. Incentives for renewable energy also failed to make it into the final version. Ken Simonson, Associated General Contractors’ chief economist, says he expects “very modest impact to construction from this package.”
