| It is a time of change for San Francisco’s Dept. of Building Inspection. On March 19, Isam Hasenin became director. On May 7, he rolled out a plan to streamline the city’s building permit and review process. And next month, DBI expects to issue an eagerly awaited bulletin that will end a moratorium on performance-based seismic designs for buildings 240 ft or taller.
