| More than six weeks after starting construction, a three-firm local joint venture signed its contract for Durban’s iconic and controversial soccer stadium for South Africa’s 2010 World Cup. With a 110-meter-tall roof arch, the $255-million stadium is one of five to be built for the tournament. Another five are getting upgrades.
