A flawed demolition job that turned fatal in Toronto three years ago has generated a $178,000 fine to the contractor, Aurora, Ontario-based Priestly Demolition Inc. A provincial judge ordered the penalty Oct. 23 for violations that caused the death of a student and injuries to 17 others in the 2003 roof collapse of a theater being demolished.
