| President Bush has picked Robert W. Johnson, a Bureau of Reclamation regional director for more than a decade, as his nominee to be the bureau's commissioner. Johnson, whose nomination was sent to the Senate on July 21, has worked at Reclamation for 21 years, the last 11 as head of the bureau's Lower Colorado Region.
