Article Description| The Las Vegas Strip witnessed another construction death on May 31 when a worker was killed servicing a tower crane at the $8.4-billion CityCenter project. The site has had six fatalities in 16 months, and the accident prompted workers to walk off the job and picket. Perini Building Co., Phoenix, is general contractor, with New York City-based Tishman Construction Corp. as project manager. On June 2, workers were sent home after word of a strike circulated.
