Battista on May 5 joined the law firm Littler Mendelson. He chaired the NLRB from 2002 to 2007. President Bush nominated him on Jan. 25 to a new NLRB term, but the Senate has not acted. Labor committee Chairman Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) criticized Battista’s renomination. |
