Article Description| CH2M Hill Cos. is boosting its planned move into the energy sector, with its Dec. 17 acquisition of Trigon EPC, a Lakewood, Colo., oil and gas pipeline contractor with 320 employees. The new unit has $50 million in revenue and will be part of the parent firm’s new energy services client group, says CH2M Hill Chief Operating Officer Lee McIntire, who will also run the group. It represents about $2 billion of total firm revenue, he says. McIntire says the deal is “strategic” and will complement last summer’s acquisition of energy contractor Veco Corp. |
