NEVADA Milros Co. Inc. has announced a proposal to build the Miller Hotel and Casino to be located on 73 acres at Sloan Ave. and Interstate 15 in North Las Vegas. Winston H. Henderson is the architectural firm selected for this two-phase project. Phase 1 is proposed to consist of a 759,000-sq-ft casino-hotel, including a 16-screen cinema, a bowling alley, nightclubs, restaurants, food court, banquet and conference center, outdoor amphitheater, and 500 hotel rooms, totaling approximately 340,000 sq ft on nine floors. Phase 2 includes two parking garages, totaling approximately 7,000 spaces. The North Las Vegas Planning Commission has approved a special-use permit. Further action is possible in six to 12 months.
