In an Oct. 3 filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the top executive and board of publicly-held engineering giant Tetra Tech Inc., Pasadena, Calif., demoted the corporation's president, Sam W. Box, to a lesser role because of discrepancies in the status of his civil engineering undergraduate education.
