Description: Arigging outfit involved in the fatal March 15 tower-crane collapse in New York City faces three “willful” safety violations, the most severe under federal law, and regulators have ordered it and two other local contractors to pay fines of $313,500 for allegedly failing to protect workers in the accident. It was the deadliest in the U.S., with seven killed and others injured. Criminal prosecution may follow, federal officials say.
