Description:
Fluor Corp., whose high-powered team earlier this month won the $4-billion-plus contract to manage the U.S. Energy Dept’s Savannah River Site former nuclear weapon complex in Aiken, S.C., may have to wait longer to take over. Site transition to the winning team was halted Jan. 22 by a contract challenge from the incumbent and losing bidder, the Washington division of URS Corp., formerly Washington Group International, Boise.
