Bentley Systems Inc., Exton, Pa., released a new version of its suite of infrastructure analysis and design products, now dubbed V8i, on Nov. 6. The release capitalizes on 15 years of acquisitions, integration and development, according to Greg Bentley, CEO. Code-named “Athens,” the company says V8i is positioned to take advantage of an anticipated surge of public and public-private infrastructure work. The emphasis is on collaborative, interoperable tools for creating, maintaining and operating infrastructure and for optimizing the transmission of project data.
