Description: London-based Zaha Hadid Architects has released the master plan for what woud be Singapore’s largest residential complex. The estimated $2-billion Farrer Court complex, being developed by local CapitaLand Residential Ltd., would contain seven tall, slender buildings rising like wavy pond fronds from sunken gardens. Baghdad native Zaha Hadid was the first woman to win the Pritzker Prize for architecture, in 2004. She is known for her experimental spatial explorations. Hadid’s consultants on the Farrer Court scheme include Max Fordham, a London-based mechanical-electrical engineer, and RSP, the local architect.
