Description: Federal charges could be dropped against a top manager of Secaucus, N.J.-based Schiavone Construction Co. who was arrested in February as part of a broad offensive against alleged mob-related racketeering and organized crime, particularly in construction, according to officials in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, N.Y., which brought the charges. Anthony Delvescovo, 44, Schiavone’s director of tunnel operations, was among 62 defendants named in a 170-page indictment. He was alleged to have been part of a pattern of intimidation against a trucking subcontractor.
