If built as planned, Nakheel Tower in Dubai would surpass the record-tall 800-meter-plus Burj Dubai by some 200 m. Preliminary foundation work is under way on the tower, which is designed by Australia’s Woods Bagot with structural consultant WSP Group working with Les Robertson, and consulting engineer Norman Disney & Young.
