ASHRAE Launches New Certification Program

Text size: A A

The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers in June plans to launch a certification program for building commissioning. Called the Commissioning Process Management Professional, the program is intended to help building owners, developers, operators and others determine whether building systems and equipment are designed, installed, tested, operated and maintained properly. The program is being developed with input from a host of other interested buildings groups and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Details, including eligibility requirements and fees, are available at www.ashrae.org/certification.
